MYODRIF is characterized by respiratory insufficiency secondary to alterations of diaphragmatic function. Generalized muscle weakness or hypotonia, renal anomalies and triangular facies are also found. Some individuals present with pectus excavatum and poor overall growth. Perinatal lethal foetal akinesia has been described.
