EOGT

Management

Currently, there is no known cure for EOGT-related disorder. Treatment of the manifestations, symptom management, and supportive care are recommended and can be managed by the appropriate specialty.

For example, aplasia cutis congenita can be managed by a paediatrician, dermatologist, and a plastic surgeon to promote healing and prevent infection. Limb anomalies are usually not severe enough to require surgical intervention but occupational or physical therapy can help with mobility. Cardiovascular and neurologic abnormalities should be regularly monitored and managed by the appropriate speciality.
