DDOD syndrome is the abbreviation of dominant deafness-onychodystrophy syndrome, which is a kind of rare disease characterized mainly by sensorineural hearing loss and dystrophic or absent nails and toes.

Up to now, only 11 pedigrees with about 20 patients diagnosed DDOD syndrome are reported worldwide.

Autosomal dominant inheritance is observed in DDOD syndrome.
