Clinical Characteristics

The clinical features of this disease include:

  • Facial dysmorphism: flat cheeks, beaked nose, retrognathia, downward slanting of palpebral fissures
  • Ectopia lentis
  • Angle closure secondary to iridocorneal adhesion
  • Conjunctival filtering bleb
  • Patchy areas of atrophy in the iris bilaterally
  • Flat anterior chamber
  • Central retrocorneal nodular thickening
  • Spherophakia
  • Decreased axial length
  • Posterior synechiae
